Conference Updates
Identity Crisis is all around us. This year at Falcon Youth Camp we dove into the hot topic of identity with the theme KNOWN. Looking to Psalm 139:13-14, we believe God’s Word is true when David wrote, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
We had the opportunity to speak this truth into the lives of almost five hundred campers. Each camp unique in its own way had experienced the powerful outpouring of His Holy Spirit. Many campers left camp with a true life changing experience, whether it was starting a relationship with Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, or accepting a call to ministry. All clear examples of why we love Falcon Youth Camp.

The NCIPHC School of Ministry is pleased to report that at this point we have 68 students enrolled in SOM for the 2023-2024 year. The enrollment period for the 2023-2024 school year has closed, however, those who have an interest in SOM may enroll at the discretion of the director. You may contact: Director Paul Evans at SOMdirector@nciphc.com and Admin Assistant Loala Evans at SOMassistant@nciphc.com for further information. SOM relies on three things for our students to succeed and achieve their ministry goals.  First, a well-developed training program that delivers on its promise of strong instruction in an environment of personal relationships. Second, the in-person requirement allows the Conference to track progress in personal maturity, spiritual growth, and ministry development for each student.  Third, SOM provides exposure to proven models of ministry, in the form of mature ministry leaders who provide instruction.  Students need the in-person connection with the instructors to discover the power of assimilating the wisdom of mature leaders and servants of God, stuff that doesn’t come out of books and study guides alone.  We enthusiastically await the opening of the SOM school year and to see our returning students and meet new students as we get started in August!  We are very excited to see what God is doing in SOM.  Our goal in NCSOM is to prepare and train leaders for ministry and leadership, and so build the kingdom of God.  We ask that you pray for us, the students, and our instructors as we navigate through this wonderful journey toward credentialing and ministry in the North Carolina IPHC. —Pastor Paul Evans, Director
